About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Drone Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing drone missions to support our clients’ diverse needs. This role requires a strong understanding of drone technology, aviation regulations, and data processing techniques.

The Drone Operations

Specialist will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, develop flight plans, and ensure safe and efficient drone operations. Additionally, the role involves maintaining and troubleshooting drone equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and contributing to the continuous improvement of operational procedures.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a relevant educational background in engineering, aviation, or a related field.

Certifications in drone piloting such as Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107 or equivalent) are essential. Proven experience in operating commercial drones, conducting aerial surveys, and processing collected data is highly desirable. Strong technical skills, including familiarity with drone software, GIS tools, and data analysis platforms, are required.

Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are crucial. Candidates should also demonstrate good communication skills, teamwork, and a proactive attitude towards safety and compliance. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites are also preferred.

Responsibilities

Planning and executing drone missions in accordance with project objectives, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Developing detailed flight plans, including route mapping, battery management, and payload configurations.

Operating drones safely and efficiently while adhering to all aviation laws and company policies.

Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on drone equipment to ensure optimal performance.
