Job Title: Firmware Developer

Key Responsibilities

Semiconductor Product Development

- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware for various hardware platforms.
- Implement and optimize device drivers, bootloaders, communication stacks, and middleware components.
- Collaborate with hardware, validation, and system engineering teams to define firmware requirements.
- Perform board bring-up, hardware validation, and firmware debugging.
- Develop firmware for interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, and GPIO.
- Analyze and resolve firmware-related defects and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards and best practices.
- Develop unit tests and support system integration and manufacturing activities.
- Create technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and release notes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
- Strong programming skills in C and C++.




- Experience with microcontrollers, SoCs, and embedded hardware architectures.
- Knowledge of RTOS concepts, scheduling, synchronization, and memory management.
- Experience with debugging tools such as JTAG, GDB, Oscilloscopes, and Logic Analyzers.
- Understanding of embedded communication protocols and device driver development.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Preferred

Qualifications

- Experience with ARM Cortex-M/A, RISC-V, or similar architectures.
- Experience in BSP development and bootloader customization.
- Knowledge of Linux kernel concepts and embedded Linux.
- Exposure to secure boot, OTA updates, and firmware security.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
