Finonyx is looking for an experienced FLEXCUBE Testing professional to support testing activities for Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking implementations, upgrades, customizations, integrations, and production releases.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, preparing test scenarios and cases, executing functional and integration testing, identifying defects, and coordinating with business, development, and implementation teams to ensure high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform end-to-end testing of Oracle FLEXCUBE / FCUBS applications.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents to derive test scenarios.
- Prepare and review test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test data, and execution reports.
- Execute Functional, Integration, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression, UAT support, and Production Validation.
- Validate FLEXCUBE functionality across relevant banking modules.
- Test interfaces and integrations between FLEXCUBE and surrounding systems such as payments, channels, AML, reporting, middleware, and third-party applications.
- Validate APIs, batch processes, EOD/BOD processing, accounting entries, transactions, and downstream/upstream interfaces.
- Perform defect identification, logging, tracking, prioritization, and closure using tools such as Jira, ALM, or similar platforms.
- Work closely with developers, functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers to investigate and resolve defects.
- Perform impact analysis and regression testing for FLEXCUBE patches, enhancements, and releases.
- Support UAT teams and business users during test execution and defect resolution.
- Participate in test planning,



estimation, daily status calls, defect triage, and project review meetings.
- Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, traceability matrices, and other QA documentation.
- Support release, cutover, and go-live activities as required.

Required Skills &

- Experience

- 8-14 years of experience in FLEXCUBE testing / Core Banking QA.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking (FCUBS).
- Strong understanding of banking products and processes.
- Experience in testing FLEXCUBE modules such as:
- CASA

- Savings Accounts
- Deposits
- Loans &
- Lending
- Payments
- General Ledger
- Limits &
- Collateral
- Trade Finance
- Customer Management
- Strong experience in functional and integration testing.
- Good understanding of EOD/BOD processes, accounting entries, transaction processing, and batch jobs.
- Experience testing interfaces and integrations with external applications.
- Good SQL knowledge for backend/database validation.
- Experience with defect management and test management tools.
- Valuable understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Waterfall methodologies.

Good to Have
- Experience with FLEXCUBE 12.x / 14.x or other recent versions.
- Knowledge of FLEXCUBE APIs, web services, middleware, and integration architecture.
- Exposure to automation testing tools/frameworks.
- Experience with Postman or similar tools for API testing.
- Experience working on international banking implementations.
- Exposure to payment systems such as SWIFT, ISO 20022, RTGS, ACH, or similar.
- Experience with Unix/Linux and basic scripting is an advantage.
- ISTQB or other relevant testing certification is preferred.
