About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern - Generalist to support our Finance team across various functions including financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, reporting, compliance, accounts payable/receivable, and business finance operations. This internship offers hands-on exposure to core finance processes and provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical financial management skills in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Create dashboards and management reports using Excel and other reporting tools.
- Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Assist in maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Support ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing activities.
- Review invoices and expense claims for accuracy and compliance.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Help track vendor payments and customer collections.
- Assist in processing invoices and maintaining payment records.
- Reconcile customer and vendor account balances.
- Compliance & Audit Support
- Support GST, TDS, and statutory compliance documentation.




- Assist during internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documents.
- Maintain financial records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, clean, and analyse financial and operational data.
- Prepare MIS reports and management presentations.
- Develop ad-hoc reports requested by finance leadership.
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve finance processes.
- Support implementation of finance controls and best practices.
- Participate in cross-functional projects involving finance operations.

Qualifications

Education - Pursuing or recently completed:

- B.Com, BBA (Finance), BBM
- M.Com
- MBA (Finance)
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / ACCA
- Any equivalent finance-related qualification

Academic Requirement

Strong academic record with demonstrated interest in finance, accounting, or business analysis.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Financial Functions).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Familiarity with financial modelling concepts.
- Knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Word.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian financial regulations is preferred.
