Company Description TUCUXI Global Solutions Pvt Ltd has been delivering specialized IT hardware solutions for 20+ years across India. The company is a specialist in IBM backup and storage media solutions. TUCUXI also provides media tape accessories, including barcode labels and storage safes, as well as backup tape libraries and drives.

In addition, the company undertakes rate contracts for IT peripherals and accessories and supplies end computing solutions to customers. Recently we have started a focussed managed services team supporting a wide range of enterprise technology needs post sales. Team members join a stable, niche-focused organization serving critical backup and storage requirements for diverse customers.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru / Chennai for Field Services Engineers and Team Leads. Professionals in these roles will perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of backup media solutions, tape libraries, and related IT peripherals at customer locations. Option of deployment at Customer locations for as resident engineers.

Daily tasks include on-site troubleshooting of hardware issues, executing preventive maintenance schedules, and providing technical support to ensure optimal system performance. Team Leads will oversee field service operations, guide engineers, coordinate service activities,



and maintain service quality and documentation. All team members will interact directly with customers, address service requests, and collaborate with internal teams to meet service level expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong Field Service experience, including in office installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware or storage solutions including enterprise hardware.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for backup media, tape libraries, drives, and related peripherals.
- Hands-on Preventive Maintenance skills for storage systems, backup equipment, and IT infrastructure components.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build long-term client relationships.
- Relevant technical education such as a diploma in technical courses.
- CCNA and relevant certificates are a plus
- Experience working with enterprise IT environments, preferably in storage, backup, or infrastructure support.
- Ability to lead and mentor field engineering teams (for Team Lead roles), including planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, work hands-on with equipment, and maintain accurate service records.
