Role Description The Field Services Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for supporting the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems at customer locations. Typical day-to-day tasks include performing site visits, diagnosing technical issues, executing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and safety. The role involves providing on-site technical support, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining accurate service documentation and reports.

The Field Services

Engineer will interact directly with customers, addressing service requests, explaining system operations,



and helping ensure a positive service experience. The position may require occasional travel to nearby project sites and adherence to all relevant safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong field service and on-site support skills, including hands-on work with solar or electrical systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or control issues.
- Experience with preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and performance checks for installed equipment.
- Solid customer service abilities, including clear communication, professionalism, and responsiveness to client needs.
- Degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy engineering (or related discipline).
- Understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, safety standards, and basic electrical wiring practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals, and maintain detailed service records and reports.
- Willingness to work on-site in varying environmental conditions and follow strict safety protocols.
- Relevant certifications in solar or electrical work and prior field service experience in the energy sector are advantageous.
