Role Description The Field Staff role at VFS Capital is a full-time, in office position based in Ranchi.

The Field

Staff member is responsible for identifying and enrolling eligible clients, explaining loan products, and assisting with documentation and verification processes. Daily tasks include conducting field visits, organizing group meetings, collecting repayments, and maintaining accurate records of client transactions.



The role also involves providing customer support, addressing queries and issues, and educating clients on responsible borrowing and financial literacy.

Field

Staff are expected to coordinate with branch teams, follow organizational policies, and contribute to outreach and community engagement efforts.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Troubleshooting abilities to assess client needs and resolve operational issues.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to guide clients on processes, product usage, and basic financial awareness.
- Basic knowledge of microfinance, banking, or financial services is beneficial.
- Ability to travel within assigned areas and work in field conditions is required.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent; a graduate degree in any discipline is an advantage.
- Proficiency in local languages and basic computer skills will be considered an asset.
