Role Description The Facade Designer will work on-site in Gurgaon in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and detailing of building envelope systems for diverse projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing facade design concepts, developing detailed drawings and specifications, and coordinating shop drawings for cladding and glazing systems. The role involves collaborating with architects, structural engineers, contractors,



and fabricators to resolve technical issues and ensure design intent, performance, and constructability.

The Facade

Designer will support material selection, compliance with relevant codes and standards, and integration of energy-efficient and sustainable design principles. The position also includes participation in project meetings, providing technical input during execution, and assisting in quality checks related to facade and fenestration works.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of facade systems, including Facade and Facade Design, with experience in building envelope detailing.
- Proficiency in Cladding design and detailing, with an understanding of materials, fixings, and weatherproofing principles.
- Experience with Glazing systems, including configuration, performance considerations, and integration with structural elements.
- Ability to prepare, interpret, and coordinate Shop Drawings for facade, cladding, and glazing works.
- Degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD and relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools); familiarity with structural and thermal analysis tools is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of relevant building codes, facade standards, and best practices in energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
