Most wedding decor in this country is assembled, not designed. The same drapes, the same flower wall, the same stage — rearranged. We started Sage & Sandal because we think there's a different way to do this, and we're looking for a designer who agrees.
The work
You'll own the concept for every event we take on. That means reading a family's brief, walking the venue, and building a design that belongs to them specifically — mood boards, palette, structure, the whole visual language of the day.
Then you'll see it through. Working with florists and fabricators to get it built. Standing on-site during setup. Adjusting the things that looked right on paper and don't in the room.
This is not a support role. You will not be executing someone else's vision.
What we're looking for
- Work we can look at. Event decor, interiors,
set design, styling — student and personal projects count. We care about how you see, not where you studied.
- Someone who designs within constraints rather than around them. Real budgets, real venues, real deadlines.
- The ability to sit across from a client and explain why a choice was made.
- 0–3 years in. If you're early but your eye is valuable, apply.
- Pune-based or ready to move.
