Company Description Ootsav is a free event planning and RSVP platform designed for all types of gatherings, including weddings, corporate events, alumni reunions, influencer meets, birthdays, house parties, and trips. The app helps hosts manage the entire event lifecycle, from sending WhatsApp invites with smart RSVP forms to tracking logistics such as arrivals, accommodation, and travel. Hosts can create sub-events under one main event, manage multiple guest groups, and collaborate with co-hosts for smoother coordination.

Ootsav also offers a shared event gallery where guests can upload and share photos with controlled visibility. The platform focuses on eliminating spreadsheet chaos and group chat overload, making event planning simple and organized.

Role Description As an Event Planner at Ootsav, you will work closely with hosts and internal teams to design, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events using the Ootsav platform. In this full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, you will be responsible for understanding client requirements, creating event plans and timelines, and managing logistics such as venues, vendors, guest lists, and schedules. You will use Ootsav’s tools to structure events and sub-events, set up RSVP forms, organize guest groups, and ensure smooth communication before, during, and after the event.





Day-to-day activities include budget tracking, coordinating with co-hosts and partners, troubleshooting on-the-ground issues, and ensuring that every event delivers a seamless and engaging experience for both hosts and guests.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Event Planning and Event Management skills, with experience coordinating diverse events such as weddings, corporate offsites, and social gatherings.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including the ability to manage clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders clearly and professionally.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting skills to plan, track, and optimize event costs while maintaining quality and meeting client expectations.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to understand client needs, present solutions, and support conversions and upselling of Ootsav’s services.
- Relevant experience in hospitality, event agencies, or SaaS-based event tools is beneficial.
- Robust organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on detail and problem-solving under pressure.
- Comfort with digital tools and mobile apps, and the ability to guide hosts in using Ootsav’s features.
- A bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
