Role Description The Entrepreneur at Black Mass Energies will lead initiatives that expand and strengthen the company’s presence in the sustainable energy and battery recycling ecosystem. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving projects that support the closed-loop EV battery economy. Day-to-day responsibilities include market research, developing and validating business models, coordinating with technical and operations teams, and presenting proposals to internal and external stakeholders.

The Entrepreneur will oversee pilot projects,



monitor performance metrics, and refine strategies to ensure commercial viability and environmental impact. The role also requires active networking, participation in industry events, and collaboration with investors, suppliers, and customers to accelerate growth.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with experience in launching, scaling, or managing business initiatives in energy, sustainability, manufacturing, or related sectors.
- Robust skills in business development, market research, and strategic planning, with the ability to identify opportunities and create actionable growth roadmaps.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including technical, operations, and finance, and ability to translate complex concepts into clear business proposals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with comfort in presenting to leadership, partners, and potential investors.
- Understanding of sustainable energy, lithium-ion batteries, recycling, or circular economy principles is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and take ownership of outcomes in a mission-driven organization.
