Engineering Manager – Enterprise Applications (Web & Mobile)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale Web and Mobile applications supporting global Supply Chain and Order Management business processes.

The Engineering Manager will lead multiple engineering teams across Web, Mobile, Backend, QA, and DevOps while partnering closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Technical Project Managers, and Customer stakeholders.

This role is responsible for engineering excellence, technical quality, architecture governance, release readiness, production stability, and continuous improvement while ensuring successful delivery of enterprise software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership

Lead and manage multiple engineering teams across Web, Mobile, Backend, QA, and DevOps.

Build high-performing engineering teams through mentoring, coaching, performance management, and career development.

Foster a culture of engineering excellence, accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Define engineering standards, development practices, and technical governance.





Drive engineering productivity while maintaining high quality and predictable delivery.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical leadership across enterprise application development.

Partner with Solution Architects to define scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.

Review technical designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

Guide engineering teams on design patterns, coding standards, security, scalability, and performance optimization.

Drive technical decision-making and resolve complex engineering challenges.

Application Development

Lead the engineering delivery of enterprise applications built using up-to-date technologies including:

Backend

Node.js

Express.js or NestJS

REST APIs

Microservices

Event-driven architecture

SQL and NoSQL databases

Authentication and authorization mechanisms

API Gateway integration

Web

React.js, Angular, or similar enterprise frameworks

Responsive user interfaces

Component-based architecture

Front-end performance optimization
