Tests the functionality and performance of medical device software systems and software applications. Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in medical device software systems and software applications. Create test reports used for regulatory submissions.
Ensures medical device software systems and software applications meets technical and functional requirements. Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements. Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models.
Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies. Manages completion of own work assignments and coordinates work with others.
Identifies and encourages areas for growth and improvement.
Continues to strengthen industry knowledge and use that knowledge to improve the quality of our products.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field with 4+ years of engineering experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded and software system testing. Solid understanding of embedded systems hardware and software architectures. Familiarity with programming languages C, C++.
Experience with scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python)
