Role Description The Embroidery Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This role is responsible for overseeing daily embroidery operations, including planning production schedules, allocating resources, and supervising embroidery machine operators and support staff.
The Embroidery
Manager ensures designs are executed accurately, monitors quality standards, and coordinates with design, cutting, and stitching teams to meet delivery timelines. Day-to-day tasks include managing machine maintenance and thread inventory, troubleshooting production issues, implementing process improvements, and maintaining safety and compliance standards. The role also involves training team members, documenting production metrics,
and working closely with management to optimize capacity and meet customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience managing embroidery operations, including machine handling, workflow planning, and team supervision.
- Strong understanding of garment production processes, fabric types, and embroidery techniques (e.g., appliqué, monogram, logo placement).
- Proficiency in embroidery design interpretation and familiarity with embroidery software or design files (such as digitized patterns).
- Proven ability to implement quality control checks and maintain consistent embroidery standards across production batches.
- Valuable organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Effective communication and people management skills to guide, train, and motivate production staff.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in a production environment and willingness to enforce compliance.
- Prior experience in apparel manufacturing or textile industry; experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred.
- Comfort with basic computer use for production tracking, reporting, and coordination with other departments.
- Relevant diploma or degree in textiles, fashion technology, apparel production, or equivalent practical experience.
