We’re hiring a Founding Electronics Engineer at Bad Boy EV.

Not someone looking for just another embedded systems job.

I’m looking for someone who wants to stand beside the founder and help build a current kind of automobile from the ground up.

We are building the Bad Boy SuperTrike - a completely new electric vehicle platform with technologies like steer-by-wire, advanced vehicle electronics, distributed control systems, custom HMI and deeply integrated embedded systems.

I need someone who can own the entire electronics stack:

Architecture. Circuit design. PCB development. Embedded firmware. CAN. Sensors. Actuators. Wiring. Bring-up. Debugging. Vehicle integration. Validation.

Someone experienced enough to make the hard technical decisions, but hands-on enough to pick up a soldering iron, open the vehicle, trace a fault and get it working.

But technical ability alone is not enough.

You should be deeply obsessed with cars, machines and technology.





You should have the instinct of an inventor and the attitude of an entrepreneur.

You should want to build technologies that do not yet exist - not simply implement specifications handed to you.

At Bad Boy EV, we believe resourcefulness is more powerful than resources.

Anyone can build when they have everything.

The real question is what you can build when you don’t.

This is not a typical job.

I’m looking for someone who can eventually become my second-in-command for vehicle electronics - someone who takes ownership, builds alongside me, and does whatever it takes to make the machine work.
