Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Maintenance Technician role based in Chennai.

The Electrical Maintenance

Technician will perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment in facility and utility operations, ensuring safe and uninterrupted functioning.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults, repairing or replacing components, and supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment.



The role involves conducting inspections, maintaining accurate maintenance records, adhering to safety standards, and coordinating with engineering and facility teams. The technician will also assist in implementing energy-efficient practices and support continuous improvement in electrical reliability and performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and working with Electrical Equipment.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electricity and Electrical Engineering principles applicable to facility and utility systems.
- Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or facility maintenance environments is preferred.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Solid attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively on-site.
