Job Location: Mumbai

Leadership & Strategy:

- Lead the Mechanical Commissioning team
- Driving global standards, strategy, processes, technical excellence, and best practices in alignment with BVPI requirements.
- Resource planning
- Responsible for the competency management of the mechanical discipline
- Technical Authority for mechanical systems including EPMS/BMS
- Provide expert oversight on design, Commission ability, testing, controls integration, and resolution of complex technical issues.

Project Delivery, Quality & Technical Oversight:





- Provide technical assistance across the commissioning lifecycle (L0–L5),
- Ensuring quality of procedures, documentation, testing, IST readiness, and successful project delivery.
- Participate and contribute in KOMs, RCAs, Lessons learnt and other technical and client meetings
- Compliance with standards

Resource Management & Technical team Development:

- Lead and develop Associate Directors, Technical Leads, and Commissioning engineers
- Performance management, and Succession planning.
- Establish competency frameworks, identify skill gaps, and drive technical training, assessments, certifications, and program-specific capability development.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

Represent commissioning leadership in key client, stakeholder, and technical meetings; manage escalations and build robust client relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Basic Qualifications - bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Extensive experience in the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems, with a focus on efficiency and reliability.
- Demonstrated expertise in data centre commissioning, with a keen understanding of the unique operational demands of such environments.
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience.
- Minimum of minimum 10+ years’ experience and at least 4 years’ experience in hyperscale Data Centre commissioning as a CxA/CxV role.
