Role Description The Vendor Relations Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key vendors and service providers that support ZenPiya’s consulting and engineering operations. This role involves negotiating contracts and pricing, monitoring vendor performance, and ensuring service levels and delivery timelines meet business requirements.

The Vendor Relations

Specialist will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project needs, coordinate vendor onboarding and compliance documentation, and resolve vendor-related issues in a timely and professional manner.



Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate vendor records, analyzing spend and performance data, supporting budget and cost optimization efforts, and contributing to continuous improvement in vendor management processes. The role also requires proactive communication with vendors to align expectations, manage risk, and support long-term partnership success.

- Robust analytical skills to evaluate vendor performance, costs, and contractual terms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust-based, professional relationships with vendors and internal teams.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, for negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
- Customer service mindset to ensure responsive, solution-oriented support for internal business partners and external vendors.
- Foundational understanding of finance to support budgeting, cost analysis, and contract review.
- Experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain in technology or consulting environments is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple vendors and priorities remotely.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort working with digital tools, spreadsheets, and vendor management systems; familiarity with tech or engineering services is an advantage.
