About The Role The NetDevOps Consultant at SISL Global will play a pivotal role in driving network integration, automation, and orchestration initiatives across cloud, edge, and enterprise environments. This role is integral to implementing a Modern Operations and AI-first operating model, emphasizing Network Infrastructure as Code (NetIaC), continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and AI-powered operational insights (AIOps). The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in network engineering, automation, and reliability engineering to enhance network performance, security, and scalability.

They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including cloud, security, and platform engineering, to deliver resilient, automated, and intelligent network solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in network engineering, with extensive experience in automation and DevOps practices. Relevant certifications in networking (such as CCNP, CCIE), cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), and automation tools are preferred. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in core networking protocols and technologies, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, and data center networking.

Hands-on experience with network automation tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform,



and orchestration platforms such as Itential is essential. Familiarity with observability platforms, ITSM integrations, and multi-cloud environments will be advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to mentor team members are also important for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage Network Infrastructure as Code (NetIaC) using Python, Ansible, and Terraform to automate network provisioning and lifecycle management. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitOps principles, APIs, and orchestration tools such as Itential to streamline network service deployment. Automate connectivity services including VLAN, DNS, Firewall, and DDI, integrating these workflows with ServiceNow and other ITSM platforms to ensure seamless operations.

Drive AI/ML use cases such as WAN capacity forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and self-healing networks to enhance network reliability and performance.

Integrate and manage observability solutions like SolarWinds Orion, Elastic, Grafana, and ZDX for proactive monitoring, diagnostics, and insights. Provide engineering support for MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI agent integrations, ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement. Implement AI-driven compliance, security monitoring, and cost optimization strategies to maintain network integrity and efficiency.

Collaborate with cloud, IAM, SRE, and platform teams to deliver unified control plane operations across Azure, GCP, and edge environments. Participate in design reviews focusing on resilience, scalability, failure domains,



and automation readiness. Create reusable playbooks, pipelines, and modules to standardize provisioning, upgrades, compliance, and backup workflows.

Mentor engineering teams and contribute to best practices in NetDevOps, automation, and reliability engineering. Support global 24x7 operations aligned with SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets, aiming to reduce incidents through AI-driven insights and automation. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation to enhance network stability, security, and efficiency.
