About The Role The NetDevOps Consultant at SISL Global plays a pivotal role in transforming network operations through automation, orchestration, and AI-driven insights. This position requires a highly skilled professional capable of managing complex network environments across cloud, edge, and enterprise settings. The role involves developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), designing CI/CD pipelines, and integrating observability platforms to ensure proactive monitoring and reliability.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Cloud, Security, and SRE, to deliver resilient, scalable, and automated network solutions aligned with modern operational models and AI-first strategies.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a strong background in network engineering, with extensive hands-on experience in network automation, scripting, and cloud networking. Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Qualified Cloud Engineer, or similar credentials are preferred. A deep understanding of core networking protocols, network security, and troubleshooting is essential.

Experience with automation tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform, and orchestration platforms such as Itential is required. Familiarity with observability tools,



ITSM integrations, and multi-cloud environments will be advantageous. The ability to work within a global, 24/7 operational environment, demonstrating excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, is critical.

Responsibilities The NetDevOps Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network automation workflows using Infrastructure as Code principles. This includes developing and managing NetIaC with tools like Python, Ansible, and Terraform for provisioning and lifecycle management of network infrastructure. They will design and implement CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitOps methodologies, APIs, and orchestration platforms such as Itential to streamline network service deployment.

Automation of connectivity services, including VLAN, DNS, Firewall, and DDI, integrated with ServiceNow and ITSM workflows, is a key responsibility. The role also involves driving AI/ML use cases such as WAN capacity forecasting, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics to enable self-healing networks and proactive issue resolution. The candidate will integrate observability platforms like SolarWinds Orion, Elastic, Grafana, and ZDX for continuous monitoring and insights, ensuring network stability and security.

Supporting AI agent integrations, ensuring AI-driven compliance, security monitoring, and cost optimization are also part of the role. Collaboration with cloud, IAM, SRE,



and platform teams across Azure, GCP, and Edge environments to deliver unified control plane operations is vital. The role includes participating in design reviews focusing on resilience, scalability, and automation readiness, as well as creating reusable playbooks, pipelines, and modules for various workflows.

Mentoring engineers and promoting best practices in NetDevOps, automation, and reliability engineering are essential functions. The consultant will support global 24x7 operations, aligning efforts with SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, to reduce incidents through AIOps initiatives.
