About The Role The NetDevOps Consultant at SISL Global will play a pivotal role in driving network integration, automation, and orchestration initiatives across cloud, edge, and enterprise environments. This role is integral to implementing a Modern Operations (Ops) and AI-first operating model, emphasizing Network Infrastructure as Code (NetIaC), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and AI-driven operational enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network engineering, automation tools, and observability platforms, with a strong focus on reliability engineering principles aligned with SRE methodologies.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of network operations through innovative automation, AI integration, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications The successful candidate should have substantial experience in network engineering, automation, and DevOps practices. A strong background in core networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VRFs, and high-availability protocols like HSRP/VRRP is essential. Hands-on experience with network domains including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Data Center technologies (ACI/Nexus), WLAN, firewalls, and load balancers is required.

Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Git is critical,



along with familiarity with orchestration platforms like Itential. Knowledge of observability tools such as SolarWinds, Grafana, Elastic, and ThousandEyes, as well as cloud networking in Azure and GCP, is highly desirable.

Certifications in networking (e.g., CCNP, CCIE), cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), and automation are advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills, documentation capabilities, and a passion for continuous learning and innovation.

Responsibilities The NetDevOps Consultant will be responsible for developing and managing Network Infrastructure as Code (NetIaC) using tools such as Python, Ansible, and Terraform for provisioning and lifecycle management of network resources. They will design and implement CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitOps, APIs, and orchestration platforms like Itential to automate network service deployment. Automating connectivity services such as VLAN, DNS, firewall configurations, and DDI workflows integrated with ServiceNow and ITSM systems will be a core aspect of the role.

The candidate will drive AI/ML use cases including WAN capacity forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and self-healing networks to enhance operational efficiency.

Further responsibilities include integrating observability platforms like SolarWinds Orion, Elastic, Grafana, and ZDX to enable proactive monitoring and insights. Providing engineering support for MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI agent integrations, ensuring compliance, security monitoring, cost optimization, and continuous network stability improvements are vital. The role involves close collaboration with cloud, identity and access management (IAM), SRE,



and platform teams to deliver unified control plane operations across Azure, GCP, and edge environments.

The consultant will participate in design reviews focusing on resilience, failure domains, scalability, and automation readiness, creating reusable playbooks, pipelines, and modules for provisioning, upgrades, compliance, and backup workflows. Mentoring engineers and promoting best practices in NetDevOps, automation, and reliability engineering will be essential. Additionally, supporting global 24x7 operations aligned with SRE principles and driving incident reduction through AIOps initiatives are key deliverables.
