- Key Deliverables

Procurement

Operations

- Procure production direct materials as per business requirements.

- Release monthly schedule to supplier as per monthly requirement.

- Follow up of parts as per schedules .

- Ensure timely amendments to PO quantities, schedules.

2.

Material Availability

Management

- Ensure uninterrupted material availability for production requirements.

- Follow up with suppliers for on-time dispatches and deliveries.

- Manage shortages and critical part escalations.

- Coordinate with Planning and Stores teams to avoid line stoppages.

3.

Supplier

Coordination

- Maintain effective working relationships with suppliers.

- Monitor supplier delivery performance.

- Conduct regular follow-up reviews for pending supplies and commitments.

- Support resolution of supply-related issues.

4.

Inventory

Optimization

- Balance inventory levels with production requirements.

- Avoid excess inventory and stock-out situations.

- Monitor slow-moving and excess inventory.

- Support inventory reduction and working capital improvement initiatives.

- Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with

- Production Planning (PPC)

- Stores

- Logistics

- Quality Assurance

- Finance

- Engineering





to ensure smooth material flow and timely issue resolution.

- SAP / ERP Operations

- Maintain procurement transactions accurately in SAP.

- Track material requirements and procurement status.

- Generate and analyze procurement reports.

- Monitor procurement KPIs and dashboards.

- Risk Management

- Identify supply risks proactively.

- Escalate risks that may impact production schedules.

Support contingency planning during supply disruptions.
