About The Role

We are seeking experienced Data Scientists to join our expanding network of professionals supporting future projects with top-tier AI research organizations. This role involves evaluating the performance of AI systems in real-world data science applications, including statistical analysis, machine learning, experimentation, and technical decision-making processes. As a Data Scientist at Synthires, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of AI-generated outputs and human-created data science deliverables.

This position offers a flexible, remote work environment, allowing you to collaborate with innovative teams across the globe on diverse projects. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of professional experience in Data Science, ideally within a leading technology company, research organization,



quantitative firm, or AI laboratory. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL is essential, along with solid knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and experimentation methodologies.

Experience working with large, complex datasets and translating insights into actionable recommendations is highly valued. Excellent written communication skills are necessary to clearly explain technical concepts and evaluation outcomes. Candidates should demonstrate a keen eye for detail, analytical thinking, and effective problem-solving abilities.

Comfort with receiving feedback and calibrating evaluations against established standards is also important to ensure consistency and objectivity in assessments.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include designing task-specific evaluation criteria for data science workflows and deliverables. You will review and assess exploratory data analyses, machine learning models, feature engineering solutions, and technical reports to ensure they meet predefined quality standards. Evaluating AI-generated work alongside human-created outputs, you will provide detailed written justifications for your scores and assessments.

Applying consistent, evidence-based judgment, you will ensure that evaluations are reproducible and defensible,



maintaining high standards of objectivity. Incorporating reviewer feedback and refining evaluation processes as needed will be essential to support continuous improvement. Your work will contribute to the validation and benchmarking of AI systems, ensuring their outputs are reliable and aligned with project goals.
