Cancer Institute (WIA) is a not-for-profit voluntary charitable cancer centre founded by Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy and further developed by visionary leaders over more than 72 years. Established in 1954, the Institute has grown from a 12-bed cottage hospital into a comprehensive cancer care centre with over 670 patient care beds, a dedicated research division, a College of Oncological Sciences, paramedical teaching programmes, preventive oncology, and palliative care services.
