Role Description This is a part-time, remote Cybersecurity Trainer role focused on delivering practical, high-quality training to aspiring IT and security professionals. The trainer will design and deliver online lessons, workshops, and hands-on labs covering core cybersecurity domains, including network, application, and information security. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing teaching materials, conducting live virtual sessions, assessing learners’ progress, and providing constructive feedback and mentoring.

The role also involves updating course content to reflect current threats, tools, and best practices,



as well as supporting learners with interview preparation and career guidance. Collaboration with the curriculum team to refine training programs and maintain consistent learning standards is expected.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Cybersecurity and Information Security.
- Skills in Network Security, including secure network architecture, monitoring, and incident response.
- Expertise in Application Security, including secure coding principles and vulnerability assessment.
- Experience with Malware Analysis, threat detection, and mitigation techniques.
- Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience in IT or cybersecurity is highly beneficial.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, OSCP) are a plus.
- Clear communication skills, ability to explain complex topics in accessible language, and strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage schedules, and adapt to diverse learner needs.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms, lab environments, and basic instructional design principles.
