About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team on a remote, hourly contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to pioneering AI evaluation projects by applying enterprise-level cybersecurity expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing realistic security scenarios, creating reference solutions, and evaluating AI-generated outputs to enhance next-generation AI systems.

This position requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat detection, incident response, and risk management. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive security assessments and ensure the integrity and accuracy of AI outputs in security contexts.

Qualifications

- A minimum of 5 years of qualified experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, security operations, incident response, risk management,



or security leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing security operations, incident response programs, security architecture, or compliance initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIS2.
- Familiarity with security tools including Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Tenable, Qualys, and GRC platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Strong technical communication skills to clearly articulate complex cybersecurity concepts.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive enterprise cybersecurity scenarios based on real-world security operations, threat detection, and risk management workflows.
- Create detailed reference incident reports, security assessments, architecture designs, and compliance documentation to support project needs.
- Evaluate AI-generated cybersecurity outputs for accuracy, reasoning, compliance with security standards, and technical quality.
- Design and implement grading rubrics that measure professional-level cybersecurity judgment, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Apply a variety of cybersecurity methodologies including threat modeling,



incident response planning, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent, and technically rigorous outputs.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices to continuously improve project deliverables.
