Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Cook to prepare hygienic, nutritious, and tasty meals for employees/management. The candidate should have positive knowledge of cooking, kitchen hygiene, food safety, and proper handling of kitchen equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily meals, snacks, tea/coffee, and other food items as required.
Plan and prepare meals according to the organization’s requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, and cooking area.
Ensure proper storage and handling of food items and ingredients.
Check the quality and freshness of vegetables, groceries, and other ingredients.
Manage kitchen inventory and inform the concerned person when supplies are running low.
Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely.
Minimize food wastage and ensure effective use of ingredients.
Coordinate with the administration team regarding daily meal requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.





Required Skills & Qualifications
1–3 years of experience as a Cook or in a similar role.
Valuable knowledge of Indian/vegetarian and basic continental cooking.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
Ability to prepare meals according to different requirements.
Good time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and responsibly.
Physically fit and comfortable working in a kitchen environment.
Polite, trustworthy, and disciplined with a positive attitude.

Preferred
Experience working in an office, corporate kitchen, hostel, guest house, or similar setup.
Knowledge of menu planning and quantity management.
Basic understanding of kitchen inventory management.

Working Conditions
Full-time role with working hours as per organizational requirements.
May require flexibility during meetings, events, or special occasions.
Must maintain skilled conduct and high standards of cleanliness.
