The Warranty Incharge is responsible for handling all warranty-related activities in the workshop/service center. The role includes processing warranty claims, maintaining records, coordinating with OEM/TATA Motors, ensuring compliance with warranty policies, and minimizing claim rejection through proper documentation and timely submission.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)Warranty Claim Management
Prepare and submit warranty claims as per company/OEM guidelines.
Ensure accurate documentation of warranty jobs.
Monitor pending, approved, and rejected warranty claims.
Follow up with OEM for claim approvals and settlements.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain proper records of warranty parts and job cards.
Verify warranty eligibility before claim processing.
Ensure all claims comply with OEM warranty policies.
Maintain warranty audit files and reports.
Coordination
Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians, and Spare Parts Department.
Communicate with OEM representatives regarding claim issues.
Support workshop staff regarding warranty procedures.
Warranty Parts Handling
Track defective warranty parts.
Ensure proper tagging and storage of warranty parts.
Arrange return/disposal of warranty parts as per company norms.
Reporting & MIS
Prepare daily/monthly warranty reports.
Maintain claim status tracking sheets.
Analyze rejection reasons and take corrective actions.

Qualification
