Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor induction furnace for cast iron melting.
Handle raw material charging and maintain proper charge mix.
Monitor melting temperature, heat time and furnace parameters.
Check and maintain required chemical composition of molten metal.
Coordinate with Quality and Production teams for heat approval.
Maintain heat-wise melting and production records.
Ensure proper handling of molten metal and follow safety procedures.
Minimize material wastage, slag formation and melting losses.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of cast iron melting and foundry processes.
Basic knowledge of spectrometer/chemical analysis.
Positive understanding of furnace operation and safety practices.
Ability to work in shifts.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
