All ward procedures of basic nursing, BLS/ACLS
Basic knowledge in common diagnostic tests and procedures in our hospital.
Hospital policies and protocols.
Skills
Phlebotomy
Patient assessment.
Knowledge on common drugs.
Knowledge about handling pre and post angio and PTCA patient.
Exclusive Job responsibilities
Assess the needs of the patients and plan of nursing care, administration of drugs and treatment,
observation and recording of vital parameters.
Attending rounds with medical personnel and assist in examination of patients and treatment.
Follow hospital policies and maintain the core values.
Proper bedside handing over to be ensured in each shift and follow the same.
Maintaining registers like CCU & Ward admission Register , MI Register , Inventory etc.
Sending the discharge patient with all reports and Explain discharge summary and about followup.
Maintain cleanliness of CCU, its annexes and settings.
Daily check of emergency drugs and life saving equipment.
Participation
Attend unit meeting conducted by Managers & hospital.
Attend training programs.
