Role Description This full-time on-site role is based in Bengaluru North and focuses on delivering high-quality critical care as a Critical Care Registered Nurse within Smart-ICU environments. The role includes continuous monitoring and assessment of critically ill patients, administering medications and treatments, and managing advanced life-support equipment as per established protocols.
Responsibilities involve collaborating closely with intensivists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans, respond to emergencies, and ensure timely interventions. The nurse will document clinical findings accurately, follow infection control and safety standards,
support family education and communication, and participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Nursing, with a current valid nursing registration and demonstrated clinical competence in acute care settings.
- Proficiency in Critical Care Nursing, including patient assessment, ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and ICU protocols.
- Knowledge of Critical Care Medicine principles and ability to collaborate effectively with intensivists and other clinicians.
- Experience or training in Emergency Nursing, including rapid response, triage, and management of unstable or trauma patients.
- Valuable understanding of general Medicine, clinical pharmacology, and diagnostic interpretation relevant to critical care patients.
- Relevant nursing degree or diploma (B.Sc Nursing or equivalent); specialized critical care certification is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-enabled ICU environment, with strong teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care, continuous learning, and adherence to clinical and safety standards.
