Experience

1–3 Years of relevant experience in VMC machine operation preferred.

Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
Candidates with relevant practical experience may also be considered.

Job Responsibilities
Operate VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines as per production requirements.
Set and operate CNC/VMC machines according to drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining symbols.
Perform tool setting, workpiece loading/unloading, and tool offset adjustments.
Check component dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
Monitor machining operations and ensure components are produced as per required specifications.
Make necessary offset corrections during production.
Identify and report machine, tooling, or quality-related problems to the supervisor.
Maintain proper production records and inspection reports.
Ensure minimum rejection and maintain required production targets.
Follow 5S,



safety procedures, and company quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness of the machine and work area.
Perform basic machine maintenance and report maintenance requirements promptly.

Required Skills
Positive knowledge of VMC machine operation and CNC controls.
Knowledge of tool selection, tool setting, offsets, and machining parameters.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality inspection.
Basic understanding of cutting tools and machining processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Preferred
Experience with Fanuc / Mitsubishi / Siemens CNC controls.
Experience in a machine shop / engineering manufacturing company.
Knowledge of drilling, milling, tapping, boring, facing, and contour operations.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹29,905.75 per month
