Job Description – Business Consultant (Operations Excellence)

Role Summary

We are looking for a Business Consultant with solid expertise in operations and process improvement to help MSMEs achieve sustainable growth. The ideal candidate should be capable of analyzing business operations, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing practical solutions using methodologies such as Lean Management, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, SOP development, KPI systems, and process optimization.

The consultant should work closely with business owners and leadership teams to improve productivity, profitability, quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct business diagnostics and identify operational improvement opportunities.
Implement Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and other operational excellence practices.
Design and standardize SOPs, workflows, and business processes.
Develop KPIs, dashboards, and performance management systems.
Improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions for business owners and employees.
Support clients in change management and implementation of improvement initiatives.




Review progress regularly and ensure measurable business outcomes.
Collaborate with other consultants across HR, Finance, Sales, and Strategy for holistic business transformation.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or Business Management (MBA preferred).
3–8 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Process Improvement, or Business Consulting.
Practical knowledge of Lean Management, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Value Stream Mapping, and SOP development.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel to client locations as required.

Success will be measured by the consultant's ability to deliver measurable improvements in operational efficiency, productivity, quality, cost reduction, and overall business performance while ensuring successful implementation of recommended solutions at client organizations.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
