Role Overview:

The Control Room Specialist is responsible for overseeing real-time operations, ensuring smooth execution of processes, and coordinating with on-ground teams to maintain efficiency. This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing day-to-day challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Real-Time Monitoring & Operations Management

- Supervise Control Room Activities: Oversee daily control room operations, ensuring that all activities related to fleet tracking, battery swapping, and station performance are executed smoothly. Ensure a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks.
- Monitor Live Dashboards and Performance Metrics: Track real-time data from dashboards and operational tools to monitor vehicle movements, swap station efficiency, and charger availability. Utilize performance insights to adjust workflows and prevent disruptions.
- Ensure Adherence to SOPs and Safety Protocols: Enforce company guidelines, safety procedures, and compliance requirements. Conduct regular checks to ensure control room executives and field staff are following standard operating procedures, minimizing risks, and improving workplace safety.

2. Coordination & Communication

- Act as the Central Point of Contact: Serve as the primary communication hub between field teams, operation managers, and senior leadership, ensuring timely updates, issue resolution, and smooth coordination.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Teams for Quick Issue Resolution: Work closely with the maintenance and technical teams to diagnose and address vehicle, battery, and charging station issues promptly. Ensure a structured escalation matrix is in place for critical failures.
- Facilitate Effective Communication with Stakeholders & Vendors: Establish structured reporting and feedback mechanisms with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.



Maintain transparent and professional communication to streamline issue resolution, service fulfilment, and performance monitoring.

3. Data Analysis & Reporting

- Analyse Performance Data: Regularly evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) such as battery swap efficiency, vehicle uptime, and station performance to detect inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Prepare Detailed Reports: Compile performance reports on downtime, battery failures, maintenance trends, and operational gaps, providing valuable insights for decision-making. Regularly track and document critical KPIs
- Optimize Resource Allocation & Strategies: Use data-driven insights to improve workforce deployment, fleet distribution, and infrastructure utilization, ensuring optimal performance with minimal downtime.

4. Process Improvement & Strategy Execution

- Implement Operational Efficiency Strategies: Introduce new tools, workflows, and best practices to improve turnaround time, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate on Process Improvements & Automation: Work closely with senior management and IT teams to automate repetitive tasks, implement data-driven decision-making tools, and refine operational workflows.
- Ensure Compliance with Regulations & Industry Standards: Conduct periodic audits to confirm adherence to government regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. Maintain a compliance-first approach to operations.

5. Asset Safety Audit & Inventory Management





- Conduct Regular Asset Safety Audits: Enable periodic inspections to ensure that assets such as batteries, chargers, and station infrastructure comply with safety and quality standards. Identify risks and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain Inventory Records: Track all assets, including batteries, chargers, tools, and spare parts, ensuring real-time updates on stock levels and asset movement. Prevent stock shortages or unaccounted losses.
- Optimize Fleet & Battery Usage: Monitor battery swapping station assets, vehicle availability, and battery health data to maximize fleet efficiency and reduce downtime.

6. Faulty Battery Repair & Maintenance Tracking

- Maintain a Detailed Faulty Battery Report: Keep an updated log of faulty battery incidents, identifying common failure patterns and taking proactive steps to reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with Technicians & Vendors: Work with internal technicians and external vendors to ensure faulty batteries are repaired, replaced, and serviced within the defined SLAs.
- Ensure Timely Processing of Defective Units: Track defective unit replacements and ensure that the process is effective, preventing delays that could impact fleet operations.

7. Vendor Management

- Identify & Onboard Vendors: Source and onboard vendors for city operations, including battery repair service providers, logistics partners, and infrastructure maintenance teams.
- Service Agreements: Co-ordinate with vendors to ensure cost efficiency, reliability, and quality service delivery. Ensure all contractual obligations are met.
- Maintain Vendor Relationships & Compliance: Foster strong partnerships with key vendors, ensuring timely payments, adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs), and periodic performance evaluations. Address any service issues proactively to avoid operational disruptions.
