About Takshila
Takshila is a peer-to-peer luxury collectible and co-fabrication platform connecting discerning buyers with independent designers and artisans across jewelry, perfumes, apparel, and furniture. Our AI Design Studio lets users co-create one-of-a-kind pieces alongside makers starting with jewelry, expanding into new categories over time. We're building for a US audience that values provenance, craftsmanship, and creative ownership over mass-produced luxury which means our words need to sound like a design house, not a marketplace.
The Role
We're looking for a Content Writer Intern to help shape Takshila's voice across social captions, blog posts, website copy, and buyer/artisan-facing communication. You'll work closely with the growth team to write content that's rooted in real commissions and craftsmanship stories, not generic brand-speak. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to actually own copy end-to-end, not just fill in templates.
What you'll do
- Write captions, carousel copy, and long-form posts for Instagram and LinkedIn, aligned to Takshila's content pillars (craftsmanship stories, design psychology, buyer journeys, artisan spotlights)
- Draft blog posts and case studies documenting real commissions the story behind a piece, from brief to finished object
- Write and refine website copy (landing pages, product descriptions, category pages) that keeps "co-fabrication" language restricted to the right places and leads with buyer-desire language elsewhere
- Support email copy onboarding sequences, commission updates, newsletters
- Help maintain a consistent tone of voice across all channels, distinguishing designer-facing, artisan-facing, and buyer-facing copy where needed
- Repurpose long-form content into shorter formats across platforms (blog → carousel → caption)
- Research trending topics in design psychology, luxury/creator-economy, and craftsmanship to inform content ideas.
What are we looking for
- Excellent writing skills clarity, restraint, and a good ear for tone (we care more about precision than flowery language)
- Ability to write in a brand's voice rather than a generic one
- Genuine interest in design, craftsmanship, or luxury/creator-economy brands
- Comfortable researching unfamiliar topics quickly (materials, artisan traditions, design psychology concepts)
- Self-starter who can take a loose brief and turn it into finished copy with minimal hand-holding
- Bonus: portfolio of published writing (blog, newsletter, social), SEO copywriting experience, or familiarity with UX/design psychology concepts (IKEA Effect, Progressive Disclosure, etc.)
What you'll get
- Direct mentorship from the Chief Growth Officer on brand voice and content strategy
- Real ownership of a growing luxury brand's written voice not just execution, but a say in how we say things
- Exposure to end-to-end content strategy, from social captions to product copy
- Certificate/LOR and potential for a full time offer based on performance
