Role Overview

We are looking for a Content Writer Intern who is interested in building practical experience in SEO, content marketing and digital marketing. As a Content Writer Intern, you will work closely with the SEO and digital marketing team to research topics, create search-optimized content, support on-page and off-page SEO activities, and contribute to improving the organic visibility of BIA's digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

Content Research & Writing

· Research industry topics, trends, competitors and relevant search queries.

· Create high-quality, informative and engaging website content.

· Write blogs, articles, landing page content, website copy and other SEO content.

· Understand search intent and create content that answers user queries effectively.





· Update and improve existing website content based on SEO requirements.

· Ensure content is clear, original, grammatically correct and easy to read.

SEO & Keyword Research

· Conduct basic keyword research and identify relevant primary and secondary keywords.

· Understand keyword intent, search volume, competition and keyword relevance.

· Incorporate keywords naturally into website content.

· Understand basic keyword mapping and content planning.

· Apply SEO best practices while creating content.

On-Page SEO

Assist with

· SEO titles and meta descriptions

· Headings and content structure

· Internal linking

· Keyword placement

· Image alt text

· URL structure

· Content optimisation

· Search intent optimisation

· Content readability

Off-Page SEO

Assist with

· Link-building activities

· Guest posting research

· Content outreach

· Business/profile listings

· Backlink research

· Competitor backlink analysis

· Off-page content creation

Content Optimisation

· Analyse existing content and identify opportunities for improvement.

· Refresh outdated content.

· Identify content gaps based on competitor and keyword research.

· Support content calendars and topic planning.





· Monitor basic SEO performance and content rankings.

Required Skills

· Robust written English and communication skills.

· Good research and information-gathering abilities.

· Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing.

· Understanding of keywords and search intent.

· Ability to write clear, structured and engaging content.

· Good attention to grammar, spelling and detail.

· Willingness to learn SEO tools and content marketing techniques.

· Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple content assignments.

Good to Have

· Basic experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest or similar tools.

· Familiarity with WordPress.

· Basic understanding of on-page and off-page SEO.

· Knowledge of AI tools for research and content workflows.

· Previous experience writing blogs, articles or website content.

· Basic knowledge of AEO/GEO and search-focused content creation.
