Backend Development

Develop Backend Services Using

Java 8/11+

Spring Boot

Spring MVC

Spring Data JPA

Build and maintain RESTful APIs.

Implement business logic based on functional requirements.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Fix bugs and improve existing backend services.

Participate in peer code reviews.

Microservices Fundamentals

Understand microservices architecture principles.

Work on independently deployable services.

Implement service-to-service communication using REST.

Assist in debugging distributed system issues.

Handle configuration management for services.

Support API versioning and backward compatibility.

Messaging & Integration (Basic Level)

Basic Understanding Of Messaging Systems Such As

Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ

Implement easy producer/consumer logic under guidance.

Handle basic message serialization and deserialization.

Understand retry mechanisms and error handling.

Monitor consumer logs and assist in troubleshooting.

Database & Persistence

Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL).

Write SQL queries for data retrieval and updates.





Use JPA/Hibernate for ORM.

Implement basic indexing and query optimization.

Assist in database migrations.

Basic exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB / Redis) is a plus

DevOps & Deployment Exposure

Use Git for version control

Build and run applications using Maven or Gradle

Basic Docker knowledge

Create Docker files

Run containers locally

Understand CI/CD pipeline basics

Support deployment and smoke testing in staging environments.

Security Fundamentals

Implement basic authentication and authorization JWT-based

Secure APIs with role-based access control

Validate input to prevent common vulnerabilities

Follow secure coding guidelines

Required Technical Skills

3+ years of Java backend development

Strong understanding of OOP concepts

Spring Boot experience

REST API development

Basic microservices knowledge

Databases

PostgreSQL / MySQL

JPA / Hibernate

Basic SQL optimization
