QA Automation Engineer with Playwright and TypeScript

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Playwright and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in automation testing and a passion for delivering high-quality software. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the functionality and performance of our applications.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create effective test cases.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.




- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Document test cases, test results, and defects in a transparent and concise manner.
- Assist in manual testing efforts when necessary.

Mandatory Skills

- Proficiency in Playwright for end-to-end testing.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues effectively.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Experience with other testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
