Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Software Testing Engineer with a strong background in automation testing, specifically using Selenium and Appium for mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality assurance and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Appium.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and design test cases accordingly.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on web and mobile applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Provide status reports and updates to project stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in automation testing using Selenium.
- Proficient in mobile application testing using Appium.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Experience in performance testing tools.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in software testing.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
