Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Testing Engineer with a robust background in Python and extensive experience with the Robot Framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
- Design test plans, test cases, and test data based on software requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report defects.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand features and provide feedback on testability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Document testing processes and results for compliance and quality assurance.
- Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on best practices in software testing.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience with Python programming.
- Proficiency in Robot Framework for test automation.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Experience with other testing frameworks and tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
