Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Software Testing Engineer with a strong focus on Performance Testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in using LoadRunner and JMeter to ensure the performance and scalability of our software applications. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement performance testing strategies using LoadRunner and JMeter.
- Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights to development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application architecture and performance requirements.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Maintain and enhance performance testing frameworks and tools.
- Prepare detailed performance testing reports and documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on performance-related aspects.
Mandatory Skills
- Solid expertise in Performance Testing with LoadRunner and JMeter.
- Proficient in analyzing performance metrics and identifying bottlenecks.
- Experience in scripting and automating performance tests.
- Solid understanding of application performance monitoring tools.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with cloud-based performance testing.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience with other performance testing tools is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in software testing with a focus on performance testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
