We are seeking a skilled Tier 3 Performance Testing Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in software testing, specifically focusing on performance testing using LoadRunner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications through rigorous testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and scripts using LoadRunner.
- Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights to development teams.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application architecture and performance requirements.
- Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Document test cases, test results, and performance metrics for stakeholder review.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on performance-related aspects.
Mandatory Skills
- Proficient in LoadRunner for performance testing.
- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting performance test results.
- Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with other performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in software testing with a focus on performance testing.
- Relevant certifications in performance testing are a plus.
