Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Software Testing Engineer with 5-7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software testing, specifically with expertise in Tosca and UFT using VB Script. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure the quality and performance of our software applications through rigorous testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Tosca and UFT.
- Analyze test results and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and requirements.
- Participate in test planning and strategy discussions.
- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testing team members.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience with Tosca as a primary testing tool.
- Strong knowledge of UFT and VB Script for test automation.
- Experience in functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Ability to analyze complex software systems and identify testing needs.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with other testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in software testing.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
