Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Tier 3 Software Tester with 5-7 years of experience in manual testing, specifically with Pega applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software products through rigorous testing methodologies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test cases for Pega applications to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Participate in test planning and strategy discussions.




- Provide status reports and updates to project stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Mandatory Skills

- Proven experience in manual testing of Pega applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Robust communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with automated testing tools.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with SQL and database testing.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
