Job Summary:
Responsible for dispensing medicines safely and accurately, maintaining pharmacy records, checking prescriptions, managing medicine stock, and providing appropriate information to patients regarding medication use.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medicines according to valid prescriptions.
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and medication details.
Explain medication dosage, timing, precautions, and storage instructions to patients.
Maintain accurate records of medicines dispensed.
Monitor medicine stock, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
Receive and verify medicines from suppliers.
Maintain proper inventory and reorder medicines when required.
Ensure proper handling and storage of medicines as per applicable regulations.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists when necessary.
Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and follow safety and infection-control procedures.
Handle billing and pharmacy-related documentation when required.
Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws and hospital policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
Valid pharmacist registration/license as required by local regulations.
Valuable knowledge of medicines and their proper use.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer and pharmacy billing software knowledge.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsible, professional, and patient-focused attitude.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
