Manager / Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts

Role Overview

Responsible for the day-to-day Finance & Accounts operations of an entity engaged in agri-commodity procurement and trade finance. The role will manage transaction accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting support, taxation and statutory compliance, ensuring accurate and timely books of accounts.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting for commodity procurement, inventory, customer releases, sales and related transactions.
Maintain accurate accounting of inventory, receivables, payables and customer balances.
Prepare customer-wise reconciliations and calculate interest/financing charges based on the period for which commodities are held.
Prepare monthly P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and MIS for review by the Financial Controller.
Conduct regular bank, customer, vendor and loan/trade-finance reconciliations.
Prepare GST, TDS and other statutory workings and ensure timely filings in coordination with consultants.
Maintain schedules for inventory, customer advances, receivables, payables, interest income and financing costs.




Support monthly and annual book closure and provide schedules/data for statutory and internal audits.
Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax consultants and internal teams for routine finance-related requirements.
Ensure proper documentation and accounting of all commodity and trade-finance transactions.

Ideal Candidate
CA / CA Inter / M. Com with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
Robust background in APMC, commodity trading, agri-business, trade finance, food/agri trading or other working-capital-intensive businesses.
Strong hands-on experience in accounting, financial statements, GST, reconciliations and statutory compliance.
Positive understanding of inventory accounting, customer transactions and interest/financing income.
Robust attention to detail, accuracy and ability to independently manage day-to-day finance operations.

Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
