Job Description – Electrical & Maintenance Technician

Position: Electrical & Maintenance Technician
Experience: 1–3 Years
Location: Ambattur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrical & Maintenance Technician with 1–3 years of experience to handle electrical maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and general facility maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
Identify and rectify electrical faults, breakdowns, and wiring issues.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.
Maintain and monitor electrical panels, motors, switches, lighting systems, and related equipment.
Attend breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime of equipment.
Perform basic maintenance of office/factory infrastructure and utilities.
Check electrical connections, cables, sockets, switches, and distribution boards regularly.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs.
Coordinate with external electricians/service technicians when required.




Follow all electrical safety procedures and company safety guidelines.
Ensure proper housekeeping and safety in the electrical and maintenance areas.
Support other maintenance-related activities assigned by the supervisor/management.

Required Skills & Qualifications
ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related qualification.
1–3 years of relevant experience in electrical and maintenance activities.
Valuable knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, motors, and basic troubleshooting.
Ability to identify and resolve electrical faults.
Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance.
Knowledge of electrical safety practices.
Positive communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Candidate
Candidates residing in or around Ambattur, Avadi, Mogappair, Padi, or nearby Chennai areas are preferred.
Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.

Compensation & Working Conditions

Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month, based on experience and skills.
Shift: General Shift – 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Location: Ambattur, Chennai

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
