Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production and utility equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation-related problems.
Maintain reactors, pumps, motors, compressors, chillers, boilers, HVAC and other plant equipment.
Attend equipment breakdowns and restore machines safely and efficiently.
Carry out routine inspection, lubrication, alignment and replacement of machine components.
Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain maintenance records.
Ensure compliance with GMP, SOP, EHS and safety procedures.
Coordinate with Production and other departments for maintenance activities.
Maintain spare-parts inventory and inform the supervisor about required spares.
Support installation, commissioning and qualification of current equipment.
Maintain proper documentation of breakdowns, preventive maintenance and corrective actions.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of industrial machinery and maintenance practices.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of electrical panels, motors, pumps and control systems.
Knowledge of safety practices and GMP requirements.
Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns.
Valuable teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred: Experience in pharmaceutical/API/chemical manufacturing plants will be an advantage.
