Role Description The Community Volunteer internship is a remote role focused on supporting rural communities in understanding and using e-commerce tools and platforms. Day-to-day activities may include communicating with community members online, answering basic questions about digital tools, and sharing clear instructions for using e-commerce services. The volunteer will help prepare simple guides or messages, collect feedback from users, and report common challenges to the core team.





They may also assist with online outreach campaigns, coordinate virtual training sessions, and document success stories or user experiences. This internship role is designed to offer hands-on experience in community engagement, digital inclusion, and social impact in a flexible, remote setting.

Qualifications

- Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse communities, including those current to digital tools.
- Interest in rural development, social impact, and digital inclusion, with a willingness to learn about e-commerce platforms.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using internet-based communication tools (e.g., email, messaging apps, video calls).
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage tasks independently in a remote environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indian regional languages is an advantage.
- Prior volunteering, community outreach, or teaching/tutoring experience is beneficial but not required.
- Availability to commit a consistent number of hours per week for the duration of the internship.
