Role Description The Communication Trainee internship is a remote role focused on supporting Digistall’s internal and external communication efforts. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and editing written content, assisting with press releases, and contributing to strategic communication plans that highlight the organization’s work in rural India. The trainee will help manage internal communications, ensure messages are clear and consistent, and collaborate with team members to gather information for stories, updates, and announcements.





Additional responsibilities may involve monitoring communication channels, preparing basic reports, and learning best practices in digital and social impact communication. This internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to mission-driven e-commerce initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Internal Communications skills to convey explicit, consistent messages to diverse audiences.
- Ability to draft and refine Press Releases as part of media and outreach activities.
- Competence in Strategic Communications to support planning and alignment of key organizational messages.
- Solid Writing skills with attention to tone, grammar, and clarity.
- Interest in rural development, social impact, or e-commerce is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working remotely, with reliable internet access and strong time-management skills.
- Enrollment in or completion of a program in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate respectfully in a multicultural environment and adapt to feedback.
